אמר ליה אימא קיימת אמר ליה אימא קיימת א"ל אבא קיים אמר ליה לשמעיה חלוץ לי מנעלי והולך אחרי כלי לבית המרחץ

He replied, 'Mother'<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' To evade a direct doleful reply, Rab said that his own mother was alive, but said nothing about his grandfather, R.
